Information pertaining to Ethnicity/Race, Income Level, and Test Scores has no bearing on acceptance; however, it assists us with grant compliance and reporting to donors, which make the JA Fellows program possible.
All prospective JA Fellows must successfully complete an interview as part of the application process. Not all applicants will be asked to interview. If you are invited to interview, you will be notified via e-mail and sent more specific information pertaining to the interview. Be sure that e-mails coming from the domain name "@georgia.ja.org" are included on your safe list and do not get put into your Spam or Junk folder. Dates and times are subject to change and we will notify interviewees via e-mail when such changes occur. All interviews take place at the Junior Achievement of Georgia Office in Sandy Springs, unless otherwise noted, and students should be available for the entirety of the time period selected.
If you are involved in a sport or a time-intensive activity such as drama or student government then let us know. Please select the activity category and the months you are involved. Be prepared to discuss how you will balance the Fellows and your academic and extracurricular activities during your interview.
Please ensure that JavaScript is enabled on your internet browser. Otherwise, the application form may not submit correctly.
If you click "Submit" and nothing happens, please review the application for any red text. This will indicate fields which need to be corrected before you can submit the application. Please note that the essay must be between 250 and 500 words - the application will not submit if the essay is shorter or longer than the specified parameters.
If you successfully complete this process, you will receive an automatic e-mail confirmation of your submission (sent to both the Student & Parent/Guardian e-mail addresses provided in the application). If you do not, or are still experiencing difficulties with the application process, please e-mail snarayan@georgia.ja.org (or call 404.257.1932 ext 230) and describe the nature of the problem.
