Thank you for your interest in learning more about the JA Fellows, the premiere program for high school students seeking to get their start in an increasingly competitive marketplace.

As a JA Fellow, high school students develop the assets that will set them apart when competing for scholarships, in college, & beyond including:

• Leadership
• Team Building & Collaboration
• Financial Literacy & Entrepreneurship
• Business Etiquette
• Communication & Networking Skills

The program offers a unique opportunity for self-motivated high school students to gain in-depth, hands-on experience that helps them become tomorrow's entrepreneurs and leaders. Students meet once a week for two hours with a group of their peers to pursue bold, ambitious goals. They gain valuable insight on financial literacy and the free-enterprise system, and are able to interact with prominent business, community & civic leaders that will help them gain access to internship and scholarship opportunities. Oh yeah, and did we mention you get paid to be a part of the program?

In its first three years, the program has served students from more than 90 public, private and home-schools throughout Metro Atlanta. To date, over 450 students hold the distinction of being a JA Fellow. We encourage students to return to us every year that they are enrolled in high school (although by no means is this required), as the skills and lessons learned in one year will enable them to attain greater success in the following year(s). And as our program is funded by the generosity of amazing sponsors, our program is offered at no cost to the student!

The JA Fellows program is available to high school students in a variety of Metro-Atlanta locations. The times and days listed below are subject to change, and reflect the offerings that are currently projected for the 2010-2011 session. Projected corporate hosts include: Chick-fil-A, Cisco, Deloitte, Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta, FedEx, Georgia Power, Grant Thornton, IHG, KPMG, Nokia, PricewaterhouseCoopers, SunTrust, Rock-Tenn, & UPS.
